How might we build practical tools for diversity and inclusion to be used in everyday work?
We invite you to an open innovation lab to increase diversity and inclusion at the workplace. How can we everyday be reminded of the 7 protected grounds of discrimination identified by Swedish law, and work pro-actively to create bigger diversity?
Many organizations have policies in place for equal treatment and anti-discrimination, but how present are they in our daily work? We believe we are not the only organization that could benefit from a tool to remind us on actively working with inclusion and diversity.
By prototyping practical tools through a human-centered open innovation lab, we want to help break the norms that restrict people, ideas and organisations to grow and innovate!
Desired outcome
We imagine a tool easy to integrate in meetings, workshops and the daily practice of collaborative work. For this Innovation Lab, we encourage you to reflect on the needs or experiences from your work and bring your thoughts to this creative session. Join this lab to build a range of first prototypes which we can test and develop further!
Approach
We will facilitate this open innovation lab to support everyone to participate on equal terms, no matter if you have previous experience of working with this challenge or with innovation. To structure the working process, we lean on the design thinking methodology to facilitate each step of the way. Through this workshop, you will get to try the design thinking mindset and methodology and address this important challenge together with a mixed group of creative minds. The process will be both rewarding and productive, regardless of previous experience. Come help us build!
